All breeds of dogs respond favorably to chiropractic care. Dr. Dees utilizes both hand and instrument adjustments on his canine patients. Just as with other animals, dogs can easily traumatize their spinal columns causing them to become misaligned (subluxated). This in turn interferes with the normal transmission of nerve impulses that travel down through the spinal column. Since most of the nerves control body functions and not pain, many health conditions can arise without the patient showing signs of pain.
Dr. Dees is able to help our canine friends bodies heal themselves naturally. In particular Dr. Dees has seen seen many dogs diagnosed with hip dysplasia as well as many other conditions respond favorably to spinal adjustments. As with humans and other animals, a doctor of Chiropractic only treats spinal misalignments, but removing these in turn helps the body to heal itself.
Dr. Dees has been adjusting canine patients since 1995. He currently owns two Labrador Retrievers and one Silky Terrier.
